The story
Huila is one of Colombia's most celebrated coffee regions, known for high-quality and award-winning coffees.
This lot comes from small, family-owned farms growing at 1,500–1,800 meters, where the region's humid climate and rich volcanic soil do a lot of the work.
It's washed, a process that keeps the cup clean and consistent and lets the coffee's natural character come through.
A blend of Castillo, Caturra and Colombia varieties gives this coffee its classic Colombian profile: a velvety body and a deep milk chocolate base. Look for hints of stone fruit and a little green apple brightness.
Why we picked it: Our go-to everyday Colombian: a milk-chocolate base that works on drip, espresso, French press or cold brew, which is why it anchors the Everyday Classics rotation.
