Unblended Development Lot

This coffee was consolidated from a community of young farmers in Antioquia, Colombia under the mentorship of experienced producers like Sebastian Ramirez.

The program helps young producers learn and experiment with small batches and, when combined, maintains a consistent year-round profile that is complex, with a round body, chocolatey and fruit-forward.

The Development Lot is an ongoing program by Unblended. It helps young coffee producers level up their skills, with mentorship from experienced producers.

Every 2-3 months, the young producers are able to gather a 20-30 kg batch of harvested cherries to experiment with natural or extended fermentation (post-harvest) processes.

After the coffees are prepared, producer participants gather to cup the coffees, gather feedback, and scale winning experiments into future lots of coffee they produce. The resulting coffees are blended to create the coffee that we've roasted for you.
