We made a shirt.
Not because we needed to sell shirts. Honestly, there are already enough shirts in the world. And it's not exactly a cash cow.
But I keep coming back to this idea of putting local coffee craft on the map. And not just any map, our map. The one that traces the places we run and bike through, hike in, fish from, grow food in, write and read about, and play music for.
So we sat down and sketched out what we love about North Alabama—this whole Singing River stretch from Florence to Bridgeport—and we started noticing how much there is.
Cultural touch points, natural wonders, places to preserve, and places to play. It's all here, packed in tighter than we realized. And we’re not the first to love it. We just wanted to put it on something soft and well-made.
Our gratitude goes out to artist Emilia Rittenbach and Green Pea Press for making this design come to life. Thank you!
In many ways, Coffee Break exists because we believe a well-crafted cup of coffee can help a person slow down and notice things. This shirt is kind of the same idea. A way of saying, “Look around. This place is pretty great.” And also, “Hey, we’re here too. Brewing something good. Hoping to drop another pin on the map."
