Roaster's Notes
If you're looking for an affordable coffee grinder that also does a good, consistent job, the options are (unfortunately) few and far between.
Bodum makes 2 of the very (very) few electric coffee grinders under $150 that I'd recommend.
The glass-catch version offers a few convenience features and a slightly improved aesthetic. After using both models in my home, they perform similarly.
I prefer the look of the glass-catch and the design of its grind-size adjustment dial. But it's hard to beat the price of the plastic catch version - the only electric grinder I'd recommend under $100.
Below, I outlined the main specs of each device. I also highlighted the features that differentiate the plus model in blue.
